Gucci Garden Archetypes
Designed by Archivio PersonaleTokyo, Japan
The Gucci Garden Archetypes exhibition commemorated Gucci’s 100th anniversary. Conceived by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, it explored six years of the brand’s advertising campaigns, showcasing the eclectic and inclusive vision that defines Gucci’s identity. Italian design studio Archivio Personale transformed the venue into a series of immersive environments, each reflecting distinct campaign themes—from the Los Angeles subway to the 1968 Paris student protests, and fantastical realms inhabited by angels, aliens, and explorers. Originally debuted in Florence, the exhibition has toured globally, with stops in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Tokyo.
